How to Make Spinach Lasagna Rolls:

My kids loved this fun twist on traditional lasagna. These easy lasagna rolls make it look like you’ve spent all day making a delicious meal in the kitchen, but they can be made in minutes!

These Spinach Lasagna Rolls are made without meat, but if you wanted to brown some Italian sausage, ground beef or ground turkey to add in with the marinara you totally could.

I was a little bit worried about my kids trying to pick out all of the spinach, but they didn’t bat an eye at it!

With all the cheesy, saucy goodness of these lasagna roll-ups, you won’t hear any whining at the dinner table.

    My family loves this!!

  5. dian says:

If you prepare this to freeze (plan on cooking in the oven at a future date), and add ground meat - should i cook the meat before rolling up?

  6. Cyd says:

For sure cook the ground meat before rolling up and freezing.

  7. Holly says:

Have you frozen these before? Any tips? Do they turn out well after being frozen?

  8. Cyd says:

We think you could make these all the way, then freeze them. Thaw and reheat. It should work. (But we really have never used this recipe as a freezer meal.) Just looking over the ingredients, a lot of these same items are in some of our other freezer meals. Best of luck to you. :)

  9. Rose says:

I make a version of this all the time, but it never makes it to the freezer! I make it with pancetta in the filling. Giada DeLaurentis has a similar recipe. It's so good, there's no way it could be weight watchers!

  10. Misty says:

How do you roll up dry noodles? Wouldn't they just break?

  11. Cyd says:

They are cooked, just dry off any liquid remaining on them. They are still very bendable and flexible to work with.

  12. Cyndi says:

Do you think you can use fresh spinach and freeze it? I have a bag to use up.

  13. Cyd says:

    Should work just fine!

  14. Ann Davidson says:

Could be wrong, but I've heard you should blanch spinach before freezing/baking....??? It's not hard, just an extra step.

  15. Anna (A Sensible Momma) says:

Looks and sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!

  16. Chelsea Reiser says:

I cooked it earlier today, and just want to reheat. How would you reheat? Oven? How long? What temp?

  17. Cyd says:

You can reheat at 350. Be sure to cover since they have already been cooked. You'll want to cook until heated through. We have often reheated leftovers in the microwave.

  18. Julieanne Parker says:

Do you use a whole lasagna noodle strip for each one?

  19. Cyd says:

Yes, a whole noodle strip for each roll.
