The college preparation and the faculty are the best parts of this school. Students are taught essential lessons such as researching topics in detail, carrying out scientific processes, analyzing novels at a college level, and much more. Teachers are incredibly versed in their disciplines, some even having PHDs. Office hours and small class sizes allow for a very hands on atmosphere. Every students feels like they are equally valued and heard in the classroom. However, MKA should improve their diversity. Their lack of racial and economic diversity sometimes makes people of color, such as myself, uncomfortable. The administration is not very strict with consequences, so there have been many cases of academic dishonesty.
